Project Highlight: Undergraduate Summer Research Project

During the summer leading up to my senior year at Assumption University, I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Jessica McCready to discover a better understanding about the role cytokine and immune cells played in the tumor microenvironment of Pregnancy Associated Breast Cancer. During this research project, i was tasked with continuing the thesis research of a former student, conducting a literature based analysis of the many different pathways and their respective impact on a number of tumor malignancies. I was able to present my findings to my peers during the Summer Research Symposium in September of 2021.
